Seven, scratches on the outer surface
Reason: There is sand on the sizing sleeve, supporting plate or sealing ring
Solution: Wash sizing sleeve, support plate or sealing ring
Viii. Outer surface waterline
Cause: The local orifice of the sizing sleeve is blocked, resulting in excessive water volume in individual orifice.
Solution: Wash the sizing sleeve
9. Inner wall grooves (mostly in wall thickness pipes)
Reason: Wall thickness is too thick, melt is difficult to cool, produce flow.
Solution: Use a central cooling system to reduce the temperature of the mouth and core.
10. Uneven wall thickness of pipe
Reasons:
1) The mouth touch or core touch bolt is loose, and the mouth touch clearance adjustment is inappropriate.
2) Uneven temperature of mouth touch or core touch leads to inconsistent material flow.
3) The sizing sleeve and the mouth feel wrong, the spiral shunt shuttle or the screen is blocked.
The solution:
1) Tighten the bolt or adjust the mouth clearance
2) Check the heating ring and temperature sensor
3) Adjust the sizing sleeve and the mouth feel to the center folding shunt shuttle or screen.
11. Low elongation at break
Reasons:
1. The raw materials are not properly restructured.
2. Orientation increases and cleanliness increases
The solution:
1. Adjust the process temperature to strengthen the plasticizing effect.
2. Increase the distance between mouthfeel and sizing sleeve.
Xii. Large ellipticity
The reason: gravity
Solution: Increase the calibration device (PE pipe manufacturers must establish strict evaluation procedures for raw materials suppliers, select the appropriate raw materials and make appropriate treatment according to the testing situation of raw materials. The production of superior-quality polyethylene pressure pipes is extremely dependent on the comprehensive output capacity of the equipment. The pipe manufacturers must thoroughly investigate and demonstrate the equipment selection in order to choose the equipment with higher cost performance.
